Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Coding Data Analyst to support
inpatient and interventional radiology medical coding
functions.
Key Responsibilities
Review inpatient and IVR medical records and code approximately
14-16 charts per day
Accurately assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS/CPT-4 HCPCS codes,
ensuring compliance with guidelines
Mentor new coders and assist in resolving documentation issues
while supporting various coding tasks
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
DRG and APC coding experience required
Completion of anatomy and physiology coursework required
Minimum of three years of acute care inpatient and/or IVR coding
experience required
Must maintain an accuracy rate of 85% or higher in coding tasks
